Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: 10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week
Location: Shop: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:
- Full Complement of Hand Tools
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Pre-employment:
- Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment
Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher Qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent
- Must have between five (5) and ten (10) years' Journeyperson experience
- Off Road experience is REQUIRED
- Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and/or Komatsu is REQUIRED
- Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial
- Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED
Working Field Foreman/ Dispatcher Responsibilities:
- Ensure all equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, and in a timely manner, resulting in proper function and availability.
- Perform preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment according to company standards.
- Oversee, supervise, and manage the day to day operations of our heavy equipment technicians in the field.
- Dispatching of 10-12 field heavy equipment technicians and welders to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
- Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
