Loader, Dozer, Excavator, Scraper Operator - Up Coming Project

 

Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, with over 50 years’ experience, involved in; civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal

Job Starts: End of July 2025

Schedule: 10+ hours per day, 6 & 1, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: Edmonton and Surrounding Area’s - no direct access to public transportation

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

 

Requirements:    

  • Personal Reliable Vehicle
  • CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

  • Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
  • Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

 

Dozer Operator:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as a dozer operator.
  • Experience with finish work considered an asset.

Loader Operator:

  • Minimum two (2+) years’ experience running a loader.
  • Experience loading rail cars, trucks, belly dumps, bins, etc.

 

Excavator Operator:

  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience as an excavator operator.
  • Experience with finishing work considered an asset.

 

Scraper Operator:

  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience as a scraper operator
