Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Schedule: 10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week
Location: Shop: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

Requirements:
- Full Complement of Hand Tools
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)
Pre-employment:
- Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyperson Automotive Technician with Red Seal or Apprentice
- Strong Diagnostic ability, including trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills is Required
- CVIP Certification is Beneficial
- Experience Working in a Dealership Specializing in Chrysler and Dodge, Light and Medium Duty Truck (gasoline and diesel) is Beneficial
- Power Train Experience is Beneficial
- Experience with Electronics and Emissions is Beneficial
- Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using electronic schematics
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED
Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure all fleet vehicles are maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
- Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, overhaul, troubleshoot and test mechanical and electronic equipment
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
