Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB - no direct access to public transportation

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements:    

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment

Parts Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and organize a team of 5-10 drivers.
• Utilizing GPS system for tracking billable hours for 3rd parties.
• Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day to ensure they're well supported during deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external shop clients.
• Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of clients.
• Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Parts Dispatcher Qualifications:

• 2+ years of previous dispatching experience.
• Familiarity with the city and various routes for quick and efficient deliveries.
