Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal

Schedule: 10+ hours per day, 6 & 1 Mon-Sat, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

We are currently recruiting for a Scale Person for our Yellowhead Aggregates division in Edmonton, AB

Requirements:

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation

Scale Person Responsibilities:

• Scale loads.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers.

• Follow work instructions and procedures.
• Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Scale Person Qualifications:

• Experience as a Scale Person is an asset
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and work independently.

• Willingness to be trained on collecting sand samples is an asset.
