Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: 10+ Hours/day, Saturdays and Sundays as required, Schedule as per Operational Requirements, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

Location: 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB - no direct access to public transportation

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

Requirements:   

• Personal Reliable Vehicle
• CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support

Pre-employment:

• Drug and alcohol testing (swab-based test)
• Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
• Fitness to Work Assessment
• Mask Fit Testing

Tool Crib Attendant Responsibilities:

• Overlook inventory of tools, perform inspection of tools and equipment to ensure items are in working order
• Load and unload materials and equipment and ensure to perform inspection of all incoming materials and tools
• Maintain clear records of tools and equipment usage with the designed tracking system
• Track all PPE and equipment issued for costing purposes
• Identify tools and equipment using identification tags
• Escalate any identified material and tool discrepancies to the Parts Manager
• Responsible for keeping the crib area secure at all times
• Ensure the work environment it kept clean and organized.
• Prepare requisitions to replenish low inventory
• Ensuring the proper handling, sorting and preparation of tools for work

Tool Crib Attendant Qualifications:

• 5+ years’  experience as a Tool Crib Attendant
• Familiarity with Toolhound is considered an asset.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment is considered an asset.
