Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes. Aligns pipes and seals joints together with cement or glue.     Pipelayer Responsibilities: - Directs activities within the trench to ensure the pipe is laid to the designed vertical and horizontal tolerances using levels or lasers. - Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding, cementing or sealing with glue. - Monitors backfill of pipe bedding to ensure proper haunch support. - Assist in lot servicing and all other duties as required by Foreman. - Install and repair sanitary and storm water, sewer structures and pipe systems. - Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. - This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position.   Sureway Construction Groupis an equal opportunity employer.
